    It confirms for me personally the importance of the practice of loving and accepting myself. And, boy this certainly does take courage!

    Years ago I embarked on this journey of self-discovery, sometimes feeling like I was marching in the opposite direction of the crowd but there was something calling me to continue.

    Through therapy, reading, etc. I heard we need to love ourselves….okay that is the WHAT I need to do…..but HOW…was the big mystery for me. I didn’t have a clue.

    I am so grateful for resources I’ve been led to…to learn “how” to love myself. One such resource is the book You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. It offers many “hows” and has improved my life immensely. Because I believe so much in Louise’s philosophies, I recently became certified as a Heal Your Life Workshop Leader and Life Coach to teach her philosophies.

    By saying affirmations everyday, meditation, and sharing with trustworthy friends…these are some of my “hows” that have helped me to learn to love and accept myself and for that I am immensely grateful.
