What thoughts and words am I speaking and thinking today, this moment, this week?

November 17, 2017

This morning I read “I know that my word transmutes every energy into constructive action, producing health, harmony, happiness, and success. (Daily Wisdom from Ernest Holmes)

The definition of the word transmute in Webster’s dictionary says: to change from one form, nature, substance, etc. into another; transform or transmutation.

Louise Hay says “every thought we think, every word we speak creates our future!” My goodness, EVERYTHING I think or say whether I’m critizing myself or someone else is creating my future.

I consider myself a positive person and yet I decided to experiment and listen to and become more aware of what I was thinking and saying. Wow was I surprised!!! I think awareness comes first,… because you know…I walked around for years with these thoughts and didn’t even know it.

Okay, so I’m becoming more aware…now what do I do? Well…this is what I’ve been practicing…anytime I catch myself thinking or saying something negative I immediately say a positive affirmation…affirming the good.

Sometimes, I caught myself obsessing on something fearful or negative and what helped then is talking to a trusted friend, continue saying positive affirmations and calling on a Higher Power greater than myself and ask that the obsession be removed. So…it seems as though awareness and practice is the key. Awareness…practice…awareness…practice…!!! Even if it feels awkward, I am committed to this way of life!

Today I’m affirming “The action of the living Spirit makes everything I do prosper, increases every good I possess, and brings success to me and everyone I meet.” “As I share and give of myself to life the One Life pours its bounty upon me.”(Daily Wisdom from Ernest Holmes)

What are your thoughts?

I am open to unlimited possibilities,
Peggy
